Both WHMSonic and Centova control panels allow direct file (media) uploading.

In the WHMSonic control panel

1. go to DJ playlist manager
2. Create or select a playlist
3. Click on "add new music"
4. Select file(s) you want to upload.

In Centova control panel
1. From the auto DJ menu, select "files"
2. Select upload
3. Select file(s) to upload

FTP

Please make sure you upload files to correct folder.  You should have received this information in your welcome email.  If, you didn't or lost this information, submit a support ticket.

Connect to your account using IP address (or domain name) using an FTP client.  (If you don't already have an FTP client, we recommend FileZilla).

Please note your ftp Host is the IP Address / Host name that was sent to you. (See our setup page for additional information).

  1. Login to the FTP server using the stream's username and password that was sent to you.
  2. Upon logging in, you should see a "media" directory (Centova) "musicbase" (WHMSonic).  Open the appropriate folder and upload your media files (i.e., MP3s) into this directory.

If the Media Directory doesn't show in the control panel this means you need to enable autodj.

  1. First Click Stop Server and make sure the server is not running
  2. Click Configure Server link.
  3. From the autodj tab set the AutoDj Status to enable.
  4. Click update to save settings.
  5. Your Media folder will then appear in the link menu

Once your media files have been uploaded, be sure to login to Centova Cast's web interface, click "Manage Playlists", and then click "Update Media Library".  This will allow Centova Cast to import all of your new media files, and retrieve the necessary song covers and affiliate information from Amazon.com® (if enabled).

Here is a video using Centova Cast information and FTP via FileZilla
