Although this problem occurs mainly on the older versions of SAMS, we have seen this issue with the latest version as well.
You can fix this problem by doing the following:
1. Double click to open the existing statistic relay.
2. In the host box replace what is there with 70.35.201.123:YOURportnumber/stats?sid=1
3. Use "source" password.
4. Leave Port box empty
4. Click ok
5. Right click on the relay and select "force update"
You should now see "ok" in the status
